Hardwood, aspen, hemlock or larch: at Benoît & Dionne Forest Products, we are able to meet a wide variety of needs in the industrial and distribution sectors:
Appearance lumber
The so-called appearance wood is produced with superior quality raw material. This type of grade with few defects is very straight and its superior quality is visible at first glance. This type of wood is often used for jobs which require an elegant finish.
Bed Frame and Sofa Component
Our lower quality wood is used by many manufacturing companies. The most common varieties found for this type of product are spruce, fir and pine (SPF), although spruce, specifically black spruce, is particularly popular due to its density and reduced knot size.
Board & Plank
Our factories have the necessary machines to produce the plank and pine board of required quality. Higher grade pine boards have few knots and defects.
Wood Treatment
We are able to produce quality wood that can be processed under pressure. This type of product is first processed at our plants and then redirected to another company to process the wood under pressure.
Engineered Wood
We produce a superior quality base that can be further processed into engineered wood.
Furring (Forence)
Our factories specialize in cutting furring, or as called in the sector "forences". More often produced in spruce-pine-fir (SPF), this type of wood is primarily used in construction.
Pallet and Packaging Wood
At Benoît & Dionne, we care about the environment by recovering as much raw material possible. It is from this perspective that we produce wood used to build crates or packaging. To achieve this, we use the remaining cuts of processed wood.
